Well Doug, as you know i tried registering and my e-mail was returned as undeliverable even though my name shows on the yahoo group.  :P

Today i got an e-mail stating that they are starting to go through the applications and to expect a call if selected. Not sure what to make of all this. Certainly one fugged-up situation here.  :brickwall:

My best guess is that they're screening all the applicants and looking for specific makes and models to perhaps balance all the different brands (Ford/GM/Mopar) to make it entertaining to the TV audience. Someone posted on Moparts that he wasn't required to disclose ET/MPH during the application phase for last years race at Maple Grove. Makes ya wonder doesn't it ?  :scratchchin:

I'm Scheduled for the Pinks all out in Norwalk, Ohio. I will be crewing the official Hot Wheels Wheelie truck. It is a 1969 Dodge D100 truck with a 500 cube 12/71 blown alcohol injected big block. Last year we competed at Milan Michigan at Pinks All Out and put all four wheels off the ground. When It came down, it bent the front wheels. That was it. We were out. We will be filming the event on the weekend of June 7th this year. I hope we get a good launch this time. They made a poster of us with all four wheels off and the boom camera in the background. Cool but not good enough. I hope to do better this time. The tru ck is almost ready. Hope to see people there at the filming.
