How dedicated to your hobby are you, outside of your hobby?

What is it that you have, or have done to show your love for your hobby of Chargers or cars?  I have a 1/24 th scale model of a 69 Charger R/T on the dash of my work truck.  I plan on having a bumper sticker made that says " My other car is a 1969 Charger R/T"  Please show me a picture of your shop, home ,work vehicle, or desk, that express your love for your car.     Bumper stickers are easy to make, I made one for my wife years ago that proudly sticks to the rear of her mini van (she hates it).

I am in my garage almost everyday. If not I am doing something car related...shows, swapmeets, auctions etc. My basement is a joke. Use to be a family room and now is a parts storage area  my front garage barely gets our drivers in everynight because it is so full of car stuff. I was working on my dads car at 15. I had like 10 cars between 15 and 18. We went to races every weekend and sometimes 2-3 times. I use to run my own auto salvage in my old neighborhood  I have 10 vehicles as of now. Where I work I always buy cars from teachers and students. Mostly newer stuff though. I did get a 65 Lemanns from a student. I also bought my 70 Cutlass from the school auto shop. Dedicated?....kinda...I guess you can call it that.

Well I finally got around to hanging up some of the signs and plaques that I have for cars in the garage this year. Only to discover that there isn't nearly enough wall space to hang them all. Finally broke down and coated the garage floor with the epoxy sealer this year to make it cleaner looking and painted the walls what else HEMI Orange.

The front room of our house holds 4 1/18th diecast models of 500's and Daytona's. The computer desk has the Danburry Mint 500 on the top, along with a 1/24th diecast of a Talladega, a Superbird, and a Daytona. Along with a beer stein with Bobby Isaac's Daytona on it. Come to think of it, I don't know if there are more than 2 rooms in the house without something car related in them. Every bathroom has a magazine rack with some MOpar literature in it. The couch has a buit in magazine rack with Winged Warrior and DSAC newsletters in it.

My 4 year old son's bedroom is painted HEMI orange, with 16"x30" posters of a HEMI Daytona, HEMI Superbird, 1971 HEMI Cuda, 1970 HEMI GTX, and then a HEMI poster mounted on the wall. Also has shadow boxes holding diecast Charger 500's and Daytona's. He picked all the posters himself (printed photo's that I had taken over the years and had them framed for him), and all of the diecast he picked out of dad's over flowing collection. The closet in my bedroom has a wire rack that all the clothes hang down off of. From the rack to the ceiling all of the way around the 8'x13' walk in closet is diecast and model charger 500's, Daytona's, and Superbirds. I'm pretty sure that everyone I know is well aware of my love for these cars.

Heck I wanted so badly to name my son Daytona, but settled for Dakota. Better to go with Dakota with the wifes blessing than have a mad wife and a son named Daytona right?

My locker at work is covered in a collage of Charger photos that I've cut out of magazines.  In spite of having company supplied work clothes available, I'm generally wearing a t-shirt that has a Charger or Mopar event on it.  Pretty much always have a couple of Mopar magazines laying around my work area as well.  They all know I'm the Charger geek.

well, ive got a picture of my charger hanging in my truck, got my charger hat i keep in my dash, im always checking this site before i check my email, at work, since all i do is cit at a security desk for 8 hrs, i do nothing but read read and read mopar books, gotta huge collection going now, only 1 more i dont have, got about 18 models, a few diecast car scattered acrros the house in every room, i think im addicted

That's funny - my wife said I could pick our first child's name - so it was going to be "Daytona" if it was a girl, but since we had a boy, I thought just "Dayton" was a little better... 

I also have been a subscriber to all the Mopar mags for a few years now as well as collect as many Charger-related books/collectables/toys that I can find...

I have the original old blue & yellow plates on the Charger now.   I got the personalized one in the event NYS takes away the ability to register the car with the classic plates

I would have a lot more collectible stuff if my car were finished. I have plans to redo my garage with a subtle Mopar motif once the car is done but right now all my spare cash is going into the restoration. And I just don't have the time or space to mess with it. I do have a garage "night light" I got from a Dodge dealer way back when. Does this count?

Seems you have as many cars as I have kids, which is why I can only afford one very expensive car.  Nice Olds, very clean looking, and only 2 doors.

I guess you could say I love 3rd gens. I just bought eleven 1/18 scale 1971 Dodge Chargers 5 R/T s 6 Superbees. I guess I went a little crazy for what I paid for them I could have bought some bucket seats for my Duster.

Well me being only 18 and senior in High School isn't much fun because well in my autohub class I'm the only Mopar guy there and I'm out numbered by chevy guys and like 3 ford guys . But heres some pictures of my room I have a bunch of Dodge hubcaps and of course no place is without a Mopar clock lol. Also don't pay attention to the Fords I don't know why I have them  . But I'm a kid trying to learn the ropes and well to me Mopar isn't a hobby it's more of a passion.

I'm pretty lucky.

It get's better (or worse?):

- My wife gave me crap for not hanging all of my posters in the rec-room. I haven't done it because I don't want to just "blob" them all in one place and there really isn't enough space to spread them all out - and I'd want them framed first.

- My wife searches the hot wheels aisle at stores for MOPARs and buys them for me. Most of the time...

- My 15 year old daughter wants my 71 New Yorker  (or a "Japanese sports car"  )

My wife did that bathroom while I was away on business. That blue project book in the basket is a bunch of articles and pictures that she printed off and organized for me - for my "library."

I have a stash of "any old" Hot Wheels that I pick up when I'm shopping. When my grandson visits, he grabs me by the hand and takes me to the basement door, where I have to pick him up. He then points down the stairs. When we get downstairs, I have to fire up the R/C Chargers and run them around the basement. Then, or sometimes again later on, he does the same point deal and leads us in to my office where he gets to pick out a hot wheel from my stash. Yeah, we've spoiled him, but it's as much fun for me as it is for him. He's not yet 2 years old and he can run one of the R/C cars - usually in to a wall but at least he figured out the controller. 

Wanna see a kid stop dead in his tracks and not move? Put the "Cars" movie on.

We both got the same Challenger toy car for Christmas.

                  thats true , done that for  4 years  while doing mine   , yeah had to be back at work 8.30 in the morning  & stuck in the spray booth for 9 hours a day ,  then  go home &  get  cutting & welding   then  plasterd in bondo dust  , & so on
