New seller,selling for a friend,can't load pics,says firewall numbers are there.What firewall numbers???Getting confused with e-bodys?
    Also,not saying there is no such thing,low gas warning I never heard of,and since I do not have an AM/FM,a fade button on radio??My coronet has it on the dash frame,not the radio.

 Just asked the seller to list the fender tag numbers on the auction so we can see.He also states he would seperate the non matching 440 six pack motor for 8K,good,keep it.If this is real,and is that close to me.I might just have to follow up!!!! Yep,for 69 chargers,triple black,IMO,it doesn't get any better than that!!!! Followed by close second,T5 white top ,white stripe.

I don't see anything in that auction that immediately cries fraud.  The guy seems to know what the car has.  He never says that the fader button is part of the radio, just that the car has one.  Never heard of the low fuel light thing.  Could that be a dealer installed option?  After market?  Or maybe he was just confused?

In any event, what I do read between the lines is that this is NOT a currently running car.  The newly rebuilt engine is not installed and he makes no mention of the condition of the car itself.  You might well find that this is one of those "easy father/son projects" in need of some serious work.  It sounds to me like an unfinished or given up on, project.

Has a current bif $20,000.00 with reserve not met.  He apparently thinks he has something special to command that kind of price without any pictures.

He says AM/FM with fader button still intact,the way I interpret is it sounds like it is on the radio.No,not to say this auction is fake because we all had to start on e-bay at some point ,maybe they are right now.I will definitely follow this auction to see what goes on.

Possibly he has the year wrong and its a 70.....NOM 440 6 pack and was a low fuel light an option in 70 on B bodies?

If a 69, no wonder its the only one with those options in the registry!

Right now I have 9 3x black RT/SE's in the registry with varying options.   Im fairly sure I have this car in the registry as one of them going by the owners location & his "one owner CA car" description.  No pics though.  he registered the car back on 12/05

I think the Gran Coupe Barracuda & Challenger R/T SE with the overhead console had the low fuel warning but that would be '70 & newer.     The same with the (firewall) cowl stamps but no trunk lip stamps for an e body.

That would be the Hemi option....trust me, you can see the gauge move down as the tach moves up!

Yes and no. It may be a scam but buying a car sight-unseen from a guy with zero feedback can be almost as bad as a scam even if it's legit. Let's just say I wouldn't begin my Ebay career with an auction as complicated as this. Start with a set of tail lights, DVDs or your kid's shirt that's too small for him to wear, not a triple black '69 Charger.
