Does anyone have pics of there 3rd gen engine compartment with headers? Just want to see what kind of
room they take up. And the overall look of the headers on the car. I'm thinking of putting on headers but
it sure doesn't look like there is much room on the drivers side. Thanks for the help.

this car is B E A U T I F U L L... juts incorrectly done!... keep chromed bumpers or change the tail ligths for the right ones!!!! my votes would it be crhomed bumpers and regular tails.

mmmm spring lower door hinge!!

mmm bolts on lower fender instead studs and nuts!!

Horns location!!

I mean, if you sell as MATCHING NUMBERS!!! match the exterior too, is not that hard!

( yeah I know, I'm starting to seem one of the moorons concourse judges, SORRY! but  money apparently expected by seller makes that! )

Jamey, why don't you just remove the entire inner fender
My 71 is a 383 w/ headers. Yeah, not much room, the old rubber hose trick comes in handy when changing the plugs. I'd post some pics but I have a new puter and haven't got everything swapped over yet.

my 72 has a 440 and headers and imo there's quite abit of room there but i only have 1.3/4 not 1.7/8th or bigger but i think bigger ones would not be a problem

i just put a set of headers on my 73 with a 318 and therea decent amount of room. i had to hammer down one of the pipes to get it past the steering box and jack the motor up and disconect thr steering arm thinggy, but pretty decent for the most part.

We put in Shorty Headers to eliminate the clearance trouble.  In doing that, it made the exhaust work more in depth, but at least we didnt have to shift the motor around.
