Hey guys,

What is a triple black Charger?  I'm assuming it has something to do with the color scheme? and/or the interior?
Can someone please enlighten me on this.

The only thing better is double black, isn't that right Brian?

EDIT** Triple black Chargers usually have another prominant color you can't readily see...

My 70 RT was orginally a triple black Charger (exterior, top, and interior) with the stripe delete option.  I had heard rumors that it might have had the 440 hood callout in black also (would that then be a 4X?), but since the fender tag and orginal hood is gone, that would be hard to prove.  There may still be a photo of it when it was young (according to some local guys), but I am not holding my breath.  There was another 3X 70 Charger RT in the area at the time, but it was a factory six pack and was rolled back in the late 70s (I got the 18-spline 4-speed out of that one for my car, the only thing the owner still had left from it).......

I would have to agree with 70charginlizard on the looks of a blackout 68, must be the Bullitt factor coming into play......
