"Spears locked herself in a room with one of her children and went into hysterics when aides of Federline arrived to pick up sons"

"Spears was expected to remain hospitalized under evaluation for her mental state for at least 48 hours."

"Us magazine, citing a hospital source, said Spears had been designated a "special needs" patient and was under constant watch. Another source told the magazine that in the ambulance Spears had to be restrained like a mental patient and that she "was going between laughing and hysterics.""

I thought she already had a meltdown when she shaved her head and beat up an SUV? Anyway, the problem is that the little you-know-what cannot get used to the fact that she's been told no, and that no means no. I think most famous/rich people seem to fall into this category of absolute narcissism where the biggest crime you can commit is not letting them have whatever they want. I think everyone should be rendered infertile when they become famous so their demented self-admiration cannot be reproduced.

You know, Its really sad whats happened to this young woman........its really easy to blame her for all of her problems, but having worked in the entertainment industry for over 25 years now, I have seen some horrendous things done to people by the people who were supposed to be helping them. Parents, management, assistants, road managers, Lawyers, trainers, etc..... They all have a part in it, especially with someone like Brittney. To me, It seems to have started with her parents, a pushy, ball breaking mom & a dad who did nothing to help his daughter. This girl was pushed to succeed at all costs by her mother. In doing so, Britteny most likely missed out on being a kid. She always had to be "on". And now we see some of the same thing happening with the younger sister......and the one common denominator in the whole mess is the Mom. Now don't get me wrong, I am not trying to make excuses for either girl. Brittney is a grown woman and will have to accept responsability for the things she's done. What I am saying is that the root cause of this family's problems rest with the parents and their lack of parenting skills coupled with the need to be famous at any costs, even the lives of their two daughters, and now two grandchildren & one on the way. What a terrible shame.

So instead of hopping on the beat them up bandwaggon, be thankful for your parents being there for you & GO HUG YOUR OWN KIDS!!!

Ok, I'm done :RantExplode:      :D

That's fine but she's 26. I don't think most adults have much of a leg to stand on by blaming mom and dad for their own wacky behavior unless they were tied up naked and kept in the basement for years. Besides, Dr. Phil says the parents are a-ok. :2thumbs:

Thats why I said she'll have to answer for her bad behavior. But that being said, The Parents are to blame for the end result. We can only hope for the best for her kids.

They'll be fine. With any luck, in 20 years Sean Preston will be in the bathroom stall at the Viper Room doing lines while getting double teamed by Shiloh Pitt and Suri Cruise.  :2thumbs:

And I'd like to add that those stalls at the Viper Room ARE not exactly the most cooperative... :D

I feel no pity for her . You can blame the parents all you like  ( which in this case it's most likely part of the problem ) but everyone blames their parents today . How many people go to therapists and cry about their parents and their childhood that wasn't , in their opinion , perfect ?
If she wasn't the millionaire that she is she would be sitting in jail for her little stunt instead of a mental ward .

she is messed up and is just having a hard time realizing she needs to change, her bottom is low I guess,  the millions of dollars and star status have the downside of having to go through all this in the public eye, that has to make it worse, some humiliation may lead to some humility, sometimes life sucks, I hope she ends up happy, kinda feel bad for her     Maybe Ponch would be a good support counselor for her,

Why would you want anything else?  Just give me a Charger and I'll be happy.

I agree with lowprofile....The people that are around her every day, had to see the impending explosion that was going to happen!!!!!! Yes, she has a responsibility to herself being an adult and a mother, but I think when you are soooooo messed up, and no one, (Not even your parents) say "Hey, you need some help! NOW!!!!", is completly sad! They wanted her to fail!!!!! :rotz: :'( Very sad situation. I hope the best for her! :yesnod:

This is why you separate yourself from those whose "help" isn't helping at all, ie., all the people who helped put you into a violent tailspin. Some people don't know how to remove themselves from the path of danger under the guise of family and friends and then stuff like this happens. They are so used to playing a certain role in a dysfunctional scenario that they don't think they can function outside of it. But guess what? You can! I've done it and things are much better. First step Britney, cut the friggin' cord already...

Exactally! But the problem is, in her mind, she's still a young girl who wants her Mom. And her mom is busy with the younger one now, and Brittney got kicked to the curb. The second part is people like that surround themselves with "Yes" people, which as we know is a recipe for disaster. Throw in a few useless friends, and a dirtbag user of a  ex-husband who's looking to take her down.
I fear she will have the same fate as poor Anna-Nicole or River Phoenix.  :rotz:

Unless Britney is pregnant as well, I think you are asking about her little sister Jamie Lynn who is 16, knocked up, and the dad is a little closer to finishing his teenage years.
