71 charger headliner bows

I am used to 66-67 b bodys having clips for the bows. How do you mount the bows for 71 Chargers? I had one person tell me the bow just goes into the hole. There are 3 holes to chose from. Then I also see bow clips being sold for 71-74 Charger.  Thanks in advance.

i always put the bow into the holes that they came out of.

Great advice, however this car came without a headliner and bows.

Runner's correct. The bows go in the holes.
I always wondered why they gave us three hole to choose from. On my 72 parts Charger I think i circled which holes the bows go into.

test it, test it and test it once you get on right hole and headlined properlly stretched

I believe the 3 holes to be for 6 bow , 4 bow , and Sunroof configurations

Yup use the holes, I think mine were in the upper front holes...only thing I didn't take pictures of...
