Well, after a whole year the scumbag that ripped me off has a new ebay account but is selling the same transmission. I forwarded the info to the police, not that that will help, but here is the link for all of you. Stay away from this guy. Guy lives in Granby Quebec, if anyone is in that area, please let me know, I would love his address so I can start a small claims against him, name is Stephane Bisson. Thanks Gerry

Time to pay this scumbag a visit. He recently tried to rip a Moparts member off....check out the threads below.

Here is the result Gerry....they hounded the MutherF and he came clean.....the part was not as advertised but still some positive, allthough less than ideal outcome.  :P

Greetings from Belgium, the beer country

NOS is nice, turbo's are neat, but when it comes to Mopars, there's no need to cheat...

I'm hunting a seller (289 stars) for a 400$ purchase that should have been sent to Mike in Florida, haven't showed up yet, paid 3rd of december.

Is it usual that sellers advertise restored items before they restore just to make sure they can sell it and when they have a buyer they start to
restore it and then ship or is it wishful thinking from my side? :scratchchin:
I paid with my cc via paypal.

Of the three numbers listed on moparts only one has a name and address: I. Gileau, 224 Rue Cyr, Granby, Quebec. Possibly a friend or girlfriend?

I'm old school in some ways.  I had something like this happen years ago but not as nearly as much money was involved.  I mailed him something and he didn't mail me something in return.  It bugged the heck out of me, so I found a town about 1/2 hour away from where he lived on a map, and I wrote him this.  Great news!  My brother lives in bla bla, I'm coming out this weekend to visit him, and then I'm coming to see you.  I want what you took from me, it's been bothering me and I can't take it anymore.  I'll be at your house at bla bla street, early next Saturday.  I'll see you then.  He emailed me back that he just shipped it out.  And he did.
Me, I'd do the same for that guy.  Only I'd add when I get up there be patient because the 6 hour drive is gonna upset me and I'm not leaving without what you owe me.
Of course go the CC routes first, but if all else fails.
This car was sold many years ago to somebody in Wisconsin. I now am retired and living in Florida.

gers1968rt

That might work if and only if you can nail him down to an address. I want to contact him as someone else (new ebay account) and say I want to come look at the transmission before bidding on it. Or... I could just be the winning bidder and then tell him I'm coming to pick it up, give me your address. Hopefully, he will give me the correct address and then pay him a visit. Ron, what do you think? Gerry

Yep, that's me, lol !   Awhile back a fellow Firefighter buddy was having an issue with a local "shady" used appliance outlet....a fridge he purchased crapped out after 2 weeks. The bussiness owner didn't want to honour the warrenty so my buddy informed him that he was coming over for a refund. Well 3 of us showed up on our Bikes in full leathers and when he saw the "Posse" pull up in the parking lot he couldn't peel off a fistful of $20's fast enough. Man, we had a good laff over that one.  :smilielol:

Yep, he seems to be switching usernames and mailing addresses...scumbag ! E-Bay needs to be made aware of these CROOKS and quit protecting them. I would be copying those threads from Moparts and pursuing this matter further. There is enough info to take legal action. Paypal needs to be held accountable too !  :brickwall:

It's amazing what a little face to face meeting or the threat of said meeting will do to motivate a deadbeat.  :icon_smile_big: No computer screen to hide behind !  ;)

Gerry, i bet he only sells to people that are too far away to come see him in person....that way he doesn't have to chance meeting a potential buyer. Hell, i'd be surprised if that trans in the E-bay auction is even his....probably a pic he swiped somewhere.  :slap:

Fwiw, you have 6 years to file a small claims complaint aginst this turd. The statute of limitations has not expired yet....you have time. Internet fraud is a federal offence and carries some serious jailtime. I would try contacting the RCMP and forward all the documentation (even the Moparts threads to show a "pattern of behavior")....they take this stuff pretty seriously.

I'm in Ottawa.....about 3-4 hours from where he lives....or claims to live.

You might try what I did with one nutjob. Threatened to turn his ass over to his states Attorney General. 5 weeks after I paid for it I finally threated him with that, and it was 3 days and I had my item.

Whatever it is you do, make sure you do it before the 60 day limit.

If I am the winning bidder, which I can guarantee you that I will be, I will just tell him I'm coming down to pick it up. He probably thinks I'm too far away and wouldn't drive over. It's worth a try.

I emailed him too. I really hate people like this. If you can't earn $$ honestly then don't go around ripping people off... Friggin' scum bag.  :brickwall:

gers1968rt

Hey, can somebody email him and ask for pics of the Brewers invoices? I have copies from 14 months ago and I want to see if they are the same ones. I'll post them a little later. Sound sincere, I don't want to scare him off till I get a chance to win this auction and pay him a visit. Thanks to everyone's input, I appreciate all the help received so far. Gerry

I'd seriously doubt he'll send that to anyone, if it exists.. I hope this turns out good for you.

I was scammed through PayPal about a year ago.. I called them almost every day for 2 months.. They kept telling me "don't worry, we can see that you were scammed". Yet, I never got my $$ back. That account has since been closed.

Back N Black

I had a problem with a vendor about a month ago. Opened a dispute claim through paypal and they withdrew the funds from his account until the dispute was settled. I have being ripped a couple of times and did not take any chances.

That doesn't look anything like you.  There is no beer or car part in your hands.  :nana:

gers1968rt

I think the scumbag smelled a rat and pulled all of the auction items. I guess he should know the smell. Smells like home. I guess I'll keep looking on kijiji.

I've been looking for this a hole for over 2 years. The google maps were updated last fall and I found his house on street view. His address is 14 Rue des Frenes, Saint-Paul-d'Abbotsford,QC, Canada.
In my search for this guy, I found an ad for a car he was selling on Autabuy and I had a couple of different addresses. It turns out that one of the street names was correct but the house number was way off. Here is the pic of the car he was selling. Here is the ad
http://www.autabuy.com/Testimonials/Details.cfm?VID=273881

Now what should I do to find out if this address is his house?
