The Aquamax...yes, this bike spent 2 nights underwater one weekend. (Not my doing), but it gained the name, and has since become pseudo-famous. :)

68 383 auto with a/c and power windows. Now 440 4 speed jj1 gold black interior .
My Charger is a hybrid car, it burns gas and rubber............

Yeah I feel your pain. It is a spendy hobby but just remember all the thumbs up while cruizin down the road and it makes it all worth it I always say

I don't even need the thumbs up (but they are nice)  just the feeling I get when I'm tearing down some nice pavement outside of town.  Windows down, no traffic, clear sunny weather, car working good...

Never kept one, stopped having one about 40 years ago.
This car was sold many years ago to somebody in Wisconsin. I now am retired and living in Florida.

Thanks we've had it since i was in third grade so thats about 10 years or so. We got this instead of a swing set.

It probably will but I know I wont need to hunt down body panels for it and what is rusted out it is the added on parts so those wont be too hard to replace.

Thanks for the pics Bear, that's a cool lookin' project. I've been casually eyeballing old firetrucks for sale lately, some are pretty darn tempting. If I showed up at home with one, my wife would be completely convinced I'd fallen off the deep end. :icon_smile_big:

Thanks when we got it, it was only $800 and it was running and driving but for some reason it would not start up last year and I still can't figure out why it wont start
