just got asked this question by a guy on moparts wanting my good stock pistons from my 400, whats the compression hieght on a 77 400, i tried hunting through my resources, cant find anything mentioning it, just kinda curious

i dont know either, he says that there was several different hieghts based on the cars they went into, never heard that before

hmmm, no question there are guys on the site that would know, just gotta catch em.

Is the motor assembled still or apart ? You could allways measure them....
