Our 68 Obsession

Damn you and I have almost the same car! I am going to put new rims and tires on my 74 in the spring, and I really like the centerlines, either Cragar or American racing. I'm going to go either 15 *7 or 8 on the front and I think 15*10 on the back. My car in a ex-drag car that I'm turning back into a street car, and it mini tubbed soI can go a litle larger on the back.

I always give the  :2thumbs: to someone wanting to try something new.
I put Centerline Softtail's on my Charger, 17 and 18" F/R.

those are my fav 17s. As I stated when you fit, on your topic... they are kinda modern keystones!!! kinda off.

I'm really VERY SETTED on go with 17" on all 4 corners as far I make to keep vintage look, nothing modern, but RIGHT NOW I can't afford them. Anyway I'm already thinking one step forward.

There is not RWL tires to 17"s... right ?

THE COLONEL

I had Keystone Classics on The Colonel when I got him, so I went with the Keystones.  They looked good! :yesnod:

Yeah I remember we talked about close a deal for those! but wasn't on my budget on those days. Now I got cheap ones down here, that need some finish touch ups job. Probably won't rechrome, will go with polishing job, and will get enlarged... they are actually 6" probably will go with 7" or 8"

But before make that, I want a scan first for this opinions... Rallyes are a good option for me too

Keystones are about as "period correct" as you can get on a third gen. I love the way they look.

That said, they are the heaviest doggone wheels you'll ever find. 23 lbs for a 15x7! To put that in perspective, at Torq Thrust runs about 16 lbs.

I won't get into the evils of unsprung rotating mass and the negative effects it has on performance.
