Good luck.  I've watched several "All Out" episodes' lately and as usual Mopars seem to be discriminated against when they pick 'em.
They seem to favor the personable folks I've noticed so you should have a shot.  :2thumbs:

I wish something like that would come up here.  You east coast folks get all the cool gigs', boo hoo  :'(  ;).

Thanks! I've heard it's a blast...I'm suprised that more members haven't chimed in yet. I know we have a lot of guys in this area.....I'd think people would jump all over this. :shruggy:

Well from what I've seen they allow hundreds of cars to run on those days, but then 9 times out of 10 they pick a group of cars that are all running right around the 10.00 times. So unless your a pretty good bracket racer that is going to run right around a 10.00 each time, I doubt that you'd make the show.

I agree to a point...they pick the closest 16 car field, lots of times they happen to fall in the 10s. At Etown, mufflers are required for the race, so my guess is a lot of street cars will be showing up. That gives guys like me a better chance. But hey, it's all about having a good time anyway.....

Doug,

You have to let me know when the date is that they will be there.  My father in law lives about 5 mins from there.  Might make a nice family day trip to "visit" them.

What time do you think your car would be in or around Doug?

Low to mid 12's?

Hemidoug

I'm hoping for mid 11s...that is the way it looks on paper anyway. I think high 11s to low 12s would be a good guess. The biggest thing is to be consistant....Once I get the chassis mods in place I'm going to have to get some seat time. Been a long time since I set foot on a track. But then agian...I was born with a shift handle in my hand!

Good luck...  I'm thinking mid 11's also.  Probably mid to high teens on the mph.    Hoping you hit a buck 2-0.  :2thumbs:

my rod runs in the mid to high 12's so I'm not gonna bother trying to get in . my friend Lenny runs at englishtown almost every week . he runs in the heavy class . his best run last yr was 10 flat. he asked me to be in his crew, so i can help him with the car. so if he gets in I'll be there. only problem is he runs Chevy nove . . Thanks Doug! I think this is one of those occasions that stand out when you think about the fun you have with your cars. I hope I get to race but I know there is a slim to nothing chance of getting picked for the final 16. I just want to go to participate, have some fun, and surprise some people by entering a factory Hemi car (I love to thumb my nose at the purists). I had already planned on getting her dialed in this year anyway, plus I've been just itching for some track time, so I'd be nuts to let this pass by.

Good Luck in Norwalk!  I'll be rooting for you all the way! I want to see that 65 kick some serious butt! I haven't gotten started on mine yet, but soon.....still waiting for paint on my 71 first. :brickwall:
