Before I screw something up on my clock and speedometer, What is the correct way to put new number decals on? Do the needles come off? I just need to know how I should proceed.

The instructions say the needle can be pulled off, but it is my opinion that they are easy to break trying to get them off.

What I did was I cut a slit in the decal where the needle rests. That way you will never see the cut when the car is parked and you don't run the risk of breaking your needle.

I wouldn't advise doing that....you run the chance of the decal shrinking (which it will) & separating at the slit you cut.

The needle comes off easy enough....I added the instructions at the bottom of this link.   there are the 4 pages from PCG explaining on how to do the gauge decal install....

I put the decals on my guages 2 years ago and I opted to do the "cut a slit" route.  So far, no problem with shrinkage and they still look good  :2thumbs:

Note: If you get the white face decals, paint your needles orange (or some other color of your choice).  A white needle on a white face (particularly at night) is very hard to see
