I've had some pretty cool Fords over the years, I'd probably try to find another '56 F100 and another '48 F1 Like I had years ago. My '39 Deluxe sedan project would get finished instead of sold if I had things to do over again, and my '40 Standard tudor would have never left.  :flame:  A fastback Torino would be cool to have...I've had several Pontiacs, too. I should have kept my 1960 Star Chief, my '68 Firebird and at least ONE of the '77-'79 Trans Ams I had back in the day.  :slap:

I've had a little of everything, my FAvORITE Non Mopar I ever owned was a 71 Buick GS 350, triple black, I always wanted a 455 Stage 1 car or even a Stage 1 GSX in WHITE.

TruckDriver

I never was and am not now, sold on one brand of car. I like a little of everything. But If there was no Mopar, it would be GM cars. Why, because I like them as much as any Mopar around, always have, and always will. My next project will be a '80s Monte Carlo SS perferably. Or a Camero.

I'd have to say Pontiac also , Ive had a couple and you can't beat the torque .

I really like 68, 69 and some 70 Chevelles, but recently I've taken a liking to 69 Mach 1s.  So I voted Ford.

Olds 442, Buick GSX, Pontiac GTO would be what I would like to have...

but what I would end up with would most likely be a Ford Mustang... easier to find.

I choose Ford....'cause they have a Hemi as well (Boss 429). I wouldn't even have to change my name!

My first 3 cars were 1) 1970' Pontiac Lemans Sport. 2) 1970' Chevelle' SS. 3) 1970' Buick Skylark Vert.  I had a thing for 70'GM coupe's.   4th car was a 71' Fury Sport (I think)....  :scratchchin:

Good Question Bro......

I've always liked cars, period. Yea , I have favorites like everyone else, But I've never been a one brand only guy. I've had way more GM cars then Mopars.

I've always liked 55' Chevys......I would love to build a Black Gasser style, like in American Graffiti. :D
I also Love the 69 Camaro. I've owned a few of them :icon_smile_cool:
63 Pontiac Super Duty is a sweet ride......gotta love the land Yachts
71 GSX in Yellow is a favorite  :drool5:

I'll even throw a bone to the Ford camp........70'-71' Torino GT's/ Cobra's are sweet rides  :2thumbs:

Even without the fictional world of no Mopars, I would still love to have a '69 Camaro.

Ghoste

Hah, I sometimes think it's the world of Mopars that's fictional.  :icon_smile_tongue:

Buicks,as I have been into Buicks as long as I have been into Mopars. My 87 GN I have owned for 16 years now,and my 70 455 Stage1 that I will be doing after the Charger.

Pontiac GTO without a doubt. Although a GSX or 442 would both be a very close second. Pony cars are too small for me, I prefer the midsize big block muscle cars.

Pontiac was the closest to matching Mopars "to hell with it this is cool" attitiude. Muscle cars are as much about attitude and style as they are performance.

I'd have to go with GM for muscle.....Oldsmobile in particular...442's don't get the respect that they deserve........

I wish I had my '66 back....plain-jane F85 with 442 option, 3.91's and a 4-speed..... :'(

Or my old Dynamic 88....these make killer customs and you just don't see 'em much...great lines....

I'd go Ford for hotrods.....either flathead or Olds rocket or Buick Nailhead for power..... :icon_smile_big:

Mercedes. Not cheap to manteniance, but GOOD MADE, perfect fit pieces, lot of power ( when you paid for, of course ), safety, comfortable, one of the BEST HANDLING around. And replacement new original parts ALLMOST forever. If you don't find you can ask for factory to be special ordered made... not cheap of course but you have the option

Chevrolet--------I like the 66 Chevelle.  Also like the first gen camaros.  I just like the style of these.  And the idea that you can get virtually any part for them at very reasonable prices is a plus.  Also like the 350 small block.  A zillion speed parts for these.  But if I had the Chevelle, I would want the 396 in it.

I woted GM, and my wish list would have been:  1:  69 Camaro, 2:  66 Chevelle, 3:  70 1/2 Camaro.   They would all be Pro Tourers :D
Since we only live once, and all this is not just a dressed rehearsal, but the real thing............ Well, enjoy it!!!!

Wow I'm really suprised that only one other person had the same thoughts as I did on this one.

If no Mopars existed then I'd got straight with the Fords, and straight to a 69 Boss 429 Mustang. That and I love the Talladega's as well, and who doesn't like the 427 Thunderbolts?

Side note the 62 Pontiac Catalina (Swiss cheese cars) are pretty nice too.
