You could get a sunroof in 75 and 76 but I'm pretty sure there were no T-tops until 77.

gotta admit, I've thought about it.....  Love that transam look.  however, just don't think it would look right.  thought about a targa top too.....

Is this the one your thinking of ?  It was on E-bay some time ago

Ghoste

You know something?  I can envision the finished product there.  I'm not sure I would like it, but I thinkit would be interesting to see it completed.

I've often thought a 3rd gen would look good cut out like that,  but after seeing that pic , I don't care for it. Something doesn't look right, windshield rake maybe....

Why don't you cut yours up so we can see what  it looks like!

ACUDANUT

I would if I had the expertise to do it right.  That means: no leakes, cracks, body flexing and a factory looking headliner to top it off.

BMOTOXSTAR

Would someone please photo shop a pic of this?  :P

BROCK

I went to look at a 71 V code Plum Crazy R/T in the early 80s.  It was in Dallas & it was cheap.
The first problem was the engine was now in a Challenger & unavailable.
The second problem was a horrible T-Top conversion.
The third problem was I didn't have any of the resources needed to replace the top.

I can only imagine why we don't see any moonroof cars waiting to get their tops fixed.

The factory sunroof is the only hole in the top that appears to have lasted.

I don't think thats a coincidence :P
