2008 Cuda ?

Okay. did I miss something.  I got the lastest copy of Mopar Muscle Magazine and they have a 2008 Cuda on the front cover.   Where did this come from and can you order one? .  I know (or heard) about the new 2008 Challenger, but CUDA Hmmmm.

a company took an 07 charger, modifed it to make the cuda(same company that did the challenger concept). and built one to show what "cuda been" it's not a production car and the "one off" creation is going to be auctioned off at the january BJ circus

 Okay, Thanks for the info.  Wouldn't have been easier to rebody a Challenger though ?

The wheel base was shortened, and BJ is in january so there would be very little time to get it finished. This also gives the creators time to show it off to build hype prior to the auction.

I've said it before and i'll say it again. If Plymouth is gone they shouldn't do it. Cuda's shouldn't be a Chrysler. It's not right.

For the record , that 08 Cuda wheelbase has not been shortened ,[ one off non Chrysler concept] after further review it's wheelbase is a little long . Thank god Chrysler did choose to shorten wheelbase on the new Challenger

That is cool looking,   looks like a lowered new challenger with a different grill.    was the old chally and cuda the exact same body?  didn't think so.

I confirmed this from Hemidakota on the SRTforums. He and PVOman`s word is like gold on that site. They are pure information and I dont think they post out of sheer enjoyment. It seems like more of a job to them. PVOman also says a pretty interesting thing about 2 stripped down variants coming in 2011. Read Hemi & PVO`s posts.

I don`t know if they plan any body changes for the Cuda. You can email Adam if you would like to know. I know the old Challenger was wider than the Cuda. And the obvious design differences. The new Challenger was first designed as a Cuda.
