So anyone here watch AvP2, if so how was it?

The movie itself was a little dark - difficult to see.  They knock out the city's power towards the beginning.   :-\

They did leave it wide open for another sequel at the end.  :2thumbs:

I liked AVP I.    I will go see this one, didn't know it was released already, thanks

Why would you want anything else?  Just give me a Charger and I'll be happy.

I saw it Tuesday night and thought it was fairly good. There was a little more gore than I thought necessary and they sort of crossed the line a few times on who they chose to be victims of the aliens but overall it was watchable. It seemed less like a sci-fi and more like a slasher flick IMO.

Kinda wish I would have seen National Treasure now instead.

I saw it tonight and was a little dissapointed.  I loved the first one but not so much this one.  The first part of the movie seemed to drag out way to long, whereas the last part of the movie where all the action was, seemed rushed and incomplete.

If I had to do it again, I'd probably just wait until it came out on video.

I also wonder how many people will get the final scene and catch the name of the mysterious lady?

America will never be destroyed from the outside. If we falter and lose our freedoms, it will be because we destroyed ourselves.

Sounds like I'll wait for the DVD.   :popcrn:

i thought it made up for the first one.  in my opinion, the first movie was way off track and didnt have the same feel as the other traditional aliens & predator movies.  the 2nd one made me feel like the makers of the 2nd movie tried to bring back the old feeling of watching older predator & aliens movies.

I hated the teen plot that fell into the story. but we're talking about civilians right?

on a scale of 1-10 for each movies...

AVP1: 4

AVP2: 7.5

Alien vs. Predator was 10 times better than AVP II.  This movie had no plot really, no story,  they could have made a much better movie with the new hybrid IMO

although overall I thought they could have made it a lot better, there were a couple cool parts, but not near enough to save the movie,

There is a great quote in there though, when one guy says to the jerk guy the line about
being quiet when they are at the store,  :slap:

I'm with Bull.  It's one of the few movies where I actually checked my watch at a few points (not during the skinny dipping scene, of course!
