Might be a stupid question but i need to know how you guys choose your rims?I mean how do you know they will fit your car.I know they are different sizes like 8x15 and 5x4,5 on backspacing but how can you tell if they fit?
The reason i'm asking this because i'm in Europe and wanna get some rims for my charger. There are a lot of European cars that have 8x15(8X114,3cm)size rims but i guess not all of them fit my '68 charger.
Could you tell me what other measurement i need to know to choose the rims?

Thanks

Shoot, Lucy... That 72 Charger looks really nice. The lines of that car are well suited for those wheels!   :2thumbs:

You need to clear your front hubs for one. Compared to most euro cars, they stick out several cm's to accomodate the two wheel bearings.

I have just ordered custom rims for my '68 and i submitted the Wilwood wheel clearance diagram, front and back, in my order. For width and diameter, you just have to physically measure on your own car if you are going for sizes that are bigger than the "safe" choiches.

Na, I have 245/60 all around on 15x7. The rim and tire combo isn't that heavy
