I know this has been talked about a few times but it hasnt been talked about for a while and a few members have picked up cars lately so lets do this again . Where did you find your Charger or other muscle car?

I circled the yard where we found my Charger. It was basically sitting right in the middle of the house I circled (before they built the house ;))

My 73 Charger was bought by my Aunt in 77, I bought it from her in 96.

My 66 was in Holly Springs Miss! And I bought that one SIGHT UNSEEN on my Dad and another guy's word. My Dad actually found the car when he bought a 49 Ford Coupe from the guy. The Charger was parked behind it.

WheresMyCharger

Awhile ago it was the local newspaper or swapsheet/autotrader. The last car I looked at was thru word of mouth hanging out at a local cruise. 69 Charger 4 speed!! ( he wanted 25K , but got bid to 17K on Ebay :shruggy:)
Have you seen my old '69 Charger??

i went to florida in 2004 to get mine, only no one was selling, not at the right price anyway.i was offered at an old town cruise a fully restored 1970 rt 6 pack for a mere $70000,i passed.(might have been a clone!!)
i saw my current car advertised in classic american for £10995,needing full restoration, but it was running and driving,uk registered, import duty paid, taxed and tested.numbers matching 383 4 barrel, california import.
i saw it advertised before i went to florida and thought it was too expensive!
got back home, thought WTF,got my cajones out,
drove it home the next day.still not sure who was most excited me or my 2 boys!
probably spent £20000 getting it close to how i want it now and i m still not finished.

Both my Chargers found me....literally! The former owner of the 71 came up to me at a swap meet trying to sell it, the 69 was owned by a friend who was doing nothing with it and one day needed to bail out of it.

My 65 I bought off of Ebay...Got a fair deal on it considering all I needed was a good shell for a race car.....

A local mopar guy told me about a 68 Plymouth he knew of out in the desert. Not sure how he found it, because it was WAY off of the beaten path. Sold that car, now I'm looking for something else.

my first 73 was purchased in 1974 .  It was an executive vehicle, purchased from a local dealership.  My current 73 was found in a local news ad, it came from out of sate.

I found it about 20 minutes from my house in a garage I had drove by a hundred times and I never knew it was in there.

I picked it up a year ago today.  :icon_smile_big:
