Making a little progress, looking pretty good.

It is looking pretty good, you have to be happy about that.  :2thumbs:

Looks nice! :2thumbs: As I recall, those are ART torque boxes and US Car Tool subframe connectors. Did everything line up pretty well or was there a lot of fitting involved?

Troy
Sarcasm detector, that's a real good invention.

The boxes needed to be reshaped some to fit nice.  The subs fit pretty good, but did require some trimming to fit nicely against the floor.  All of the factory frame unions will get a bead of new weld also, should make the car tight.

I used the same ones . Anyone who still uses square tube is wasting their time and effort !!! From and engineering standpoint , these far out weigh any other method ............. And look factory , not a mess like tube !!!

Really nice work :2thumbs:
I have subframe connectors from XV ordered. Where is the best place to get the torque boxes??
Since we only live once, and all this is not just a dressed rehearsal, but the real thing............ Well, enjoy it!!!!

Like Troy mentioned, the subs are from US Car Tool, and the boxes are from Auto Rust Technicians.  They are both good, after a little customizing.

I noticed in one of your pics that on the driver side of the frame connector has a slot in it I believe is for the e-brake cable. Did you have to cut this slot your self or did come cut in the frame connector? On us car tools site it shows a pic of the connectors but I don't see this slot in them. I've be looking at frame connectors for my charger and had always wondered how you run the e-brake cable with the connectors installed, and how to locate the slot in the right position.

                                                 Thanks, Alan

Good question. I was wondering that myself after looking at US car tool website.

It is for the e brake, and needs to be cut in.  It is eye balling close, the brake dosen't get used on a regular basis, and I plan on putting a piece of tubing in the slot to keep the cable from rubbing.
