I'm sorry to hear that.  I had higher hopes for her.

Jamie is in a kids show isn't she?  Wonder what the producers are going to do about that?  My guess is, she just shot her career in the foot.

i was actually hoping not to see a post about that person in this forum... really, who gives a crap, there are thousands of 16 year old pregnant girls on Maury, Montel, what have you.. we dont post about them.  Ms. Spears doesnt deserve the publicity in my eyes... she is just another dumb 16 year old.. dont make a pregnant martyr out of her dumbazz please.

I heard that on the radio during the hellish commute tonight. :rotz: IMO, that's 10 times more lame than the 16 year old getting prego.

I completely agree....
But that's the most important reason to talk about this... kids as young as 6 years old watch her show, Zoe 101.
Those same kids are going to hear about her pregnancy one way or another - be it the news, the internet, those stupid gossip rags in the grocery stores...

Don't you think it's important for parents and grandparents to at least have a head's up about this so that they can deal with it however they see fit?
Ignorance is not bliss when you're talking about what your kids are up to.

Is this place the right place to talk about it? Hmmmm No, but it doesn't hurt to have a quick mention of it in the Off Topic section - if only to let anyone know that hasn't heard already.
