68 Charger R/t white with black v/t and red tailstripe. 440 4 speed ,black interior
68 383 auto with a/c and power windows. Now 440 4 speed jj1 gold black interior .
My Charger is a hybrid car, it burns gas and rubber............

Ghoste

That's the second thing I noticed as well.  What's your overall take on it's restorability Trav?

69charger2002

lol guys look at the last pic for the whole message.. people love that on the interstate when i'm pulling 3 chargers.. anywho it is very restorable. good frame rails 95% nice floors, but it needs all the typical stuff, including the back of the roof. i WISH i had taken a before pic before it came out of the woods. it has been on 55 gallon drums for 11 years.. i have known about it for about 6... the drums were collapsing from holding up the car for so long. if it had not been in the air it would be toast by now. i thought the fender tag was MIA. but by the time i had gotten home and the pine needles and leaves all came off the car on the interstate, there it was.. well most of it

seriously i had seen it once before about 6 years ago. back then i really barely looked at it as it was such a basketcase i wasn't interested.. but i drove past the area where it would be the other day(it's 400 yards back in the woods, not visible).. and decided to call him up to see if he still had it/wanted to sell. 3 days later.. here she is

Yep, that is the 69 RT/SE I bought off of ebay last year in Northeastern Kansas (missing VIN, but still has the fender tag to prove what it is).  It had been sitting like that for a long time after it was stripped down......

Out of the 150 RT/SE's I have in the registry, 28 are 4-speeds....so the answer is no

I was thinking the same thing.  Congrates, nice to see another rare car saved.  I would give anything to find something like that, but in the North East I think they're all gone.  I keep looking though.  Actually there's a Hemi charger (68or9) sitting in a warehouse 2 towns over I'm told.  The owners were a husband and wife team that raced it on the track at CT dragway  in the 70's, got divorced and neither will part with it.  So it sits hidden.
This car was sold many years ago to somebody in Wisconsin. I now am retired and living in Florida.

Hahahahahahahahahaha...........   $500.00 seems to be your magic number lately..  Somehow I thought since you had to pull it out of nowhere and off a bunch of 55 gallon drums, you would have pulled this one in a bit shorter..  :D  BUT Trav, I would have owned it...   ;)

I have a Question, If you did not want it before why did you want it now? :scratchchin: LEON.

69charger2002

very easy. to make a rebody  :smilielol:
seriously the answer is not complicated.
1. to save it(throw me the dolphin comments all you want, but this is a legitimate reason)
2. to make a few bucks(anything wrong with that?)
that pretty much sums it up.. i am not gonna lie sitting behind a keyboard about it.. lol
