I need to remove this exterior trim piece (see photo) on my 69 Charger. How is it attached and removed?

Just 6T9 CHGR

The quarter panel trim is held on by screws which are accessed behind the window felt.

The felt must be removed to gain access to the screws.   It is possible to do this with the quarter glass still in but you risk the chance of cracking the glass.

Steps in a nutshell......

Remove back seat, remove rear upper & lower door panels (armrests & window crank handles), remove window glass, remove outer fuzzies then remove screws to remove molding.

If your car is painted already it is recommended to put a few layers of masking tape on the body to prevent scratches.  The molding doesnt just fall off after the screws are removed....you have to twist it out of the corner of the body.  You'll see what I mean when it comes up to that step.....
