How do I advance the timing on my car. I can either get it to idle smooth or rev smooth not both. Is there a way I can adjust this?

You have to adjust the carburator when advancing/retarding the timing.....if you're just playing with the distributor and not the carb, then there will be problems.  :Twocents:

What would I need to adjust? I have a 670cfm Holley Street Avenger.
