Somebody must be asleep at the mouse. Anyways....here it is. The picture does not do it justice. If there was a hole big enough I'd BANG the thing.  :D  I had it done locally for 5 C-notes. There are plenty of quality places out there and luckily I have one close by. I dropped it off and 2 months later I picked it up. I did not want one from Bumper Boys or anyone else. I wanted what came on my car to STAY on my car!

All the other chrome trim is pretty nice but you know how it goes. Once you paint, plate or replace a part on your car it makes everything around look less than perfect. That can lead to a whole lotta money leaving your wallet!

not if your building a Daytona , Back bumper is a repro , no chrome outside of door handles

Same goes for a '77 Firebird Trans-Am and a host of others. Kind of a moot point don't ya think?

Assuming you want a Daytona... I'm guessing TripleBlackGator wants a 70 Charger. The only chrome a Daytona is "missing" is the front bumper and bumperettes. Of course, you also have $10,000 in a nose and plug so I'm sure that's a much better deal than $500 for a front bumper. :ahum: Speaking of bumpers, have you seen the repros? Not impressive for the most part.

It looks good to me and the price certainly sounds reasonable. Maybe I'll get to see it in person one of these days.

Troy
Sarcasm detector, that's a real good invention.

Looks awesome man!

I got my 68's re-chromed and straightened for $410 (per bumper but including those support pieces, their name escapes me at the moment) and they were both done within a week and a half.

This car was sold many years ago to somebody in Wisconsin. I now am retired and living in Florida.

TripleBlackGator,

Where there any dents on the bumper before you got it re-chromed? If so, did they work them out?  The bumper is amazing I would "HIT IT" :horse:

No dents or distortion. Just a handful of nicks and scuffs that made a nice 50 foot bumper. Now though, it's simply beautiful even up close and makes the rest of the car look worse by comparison. (read: 25 year old Imron paint)  :D

Nice bumper.........seems $500 is the right price for a bumper to be done right..........I was in CArlisle PA  years ago and bought bumpers for my 69 cutlass convertible......The guy there had 100S of re chromed bumpers for any car,you may have seen him there if you've gone to Carlisle..........well two years later the chrome started peeling around the mounting holes....very unhappy.......paid only $250 per bumper, which I thought was great as I had no core to give him...............so I would much rather pay $500 for quality work!
I wish my wife could see the wisdom with me spending $1000 to re chrome two bumpers!
