So anyways, I'm looking to buy a cheap electric guitar so I can give it a sweet paintjob. I posted a wanted ad in the craigslist here and I recieved this email today:


"Hello Seller
Am interested in your item place on advert,i will want you to send me some more pics for closer look,my mode of payment is via money order and i will like to know if accepted before we proceed.
Thanks"

Notice the sections I bolded in this post......


Like what the hell, I post a WANTED ad and I get this scammer wanting to scam me out of money for something I dont even have. Stupid scammers :rotz: :rotz: :RantExplode:

Cody, if you look around on the CL main page you will see a place to send emails like this.

I think it is

www.abuse@craiglist.org     But you should check and make sure as I don't have the best memory.  Just don't ever answer to crap like that. Doing so will give them your email address. You don't want that.  :rotz:

Ok, thanks for the link! I reported it to msn hotmail. Theres a button in my inbox called "Report Scam" so I clicked it and reported it. Then I sent it to the trash.
