'09 RAM, not bad considering Dodges recent record, (excluding Challenger)

SnoPro440

It's not bad, but I wish they would have made this one.

looks good... but it kinda has some Ford in it too... I too wish they would have made the powerwagon concept a reality.

"From someone who saw it in person: "In Sport and Laramie trim levels, it even has a stitched dash that you'd swear is leather! Think new Super Duty in terms of style and sophistication. It has a coil sprung rear axle for a better ride with the same payload capacity. 375 hp from the new 5.7 Hemi, with better mileage. No more Mega Cab; traditional, quad, and four-door crew cab now. Crew cab has a 5 foot 3 inch bed, built into the sides and accessed from outside the bed are two locking, waterproof, hinged access doors to 8 cubic feet of storage on each side of the bed."

NO MORE MEGA-CAB... I hope that was a miss print. When we travel as a family we take my truck as it has the most room and comfort. The Mega-cab is the most roomy and comfortable of all the Dodge trucks. I don't get it.  :shruggy: Maybe they are stretching out the 4 door to Fords crew cab size. (I HOPE).  Do you think maybe all those letters I have been writing the good people at MOPAR are doing some good??  ;)

I for one cannot wait to get in and drive one of these new sprung trucks as comfort is huge to me..

Make mine a loaded 3/4 or 1 ton crew cab with a cummins and an automatic. Must have power heated seats on BOTH SIDES...

I like it! Although, I really wish they would still make a traditional extended cab WITHOUT the 4 doors.

is it just me or does the front grill lower section almost look like it was in a minor fender bender.. kinda pushed in. ack. the body itself looks more like a ford/tundra/titan mix. i wish they would just make the 2002-2005 model forever.. even the 06 07 swept back headlights and bulging taillights were not an improvement

Best feature I can see.  I gotta ask, though, what the hell took anyone so long to put this feature in a truck?  anyone who has ever worked out of a pickup in any sort of business where you carry a tool box, small parts, etc, knows that getting your shit out without climbing can make or break your day.

I have an 04 1500, I REALLY like that new one! Cool truck. Looks new, without being an overly dramatic change.

I'd like to drive one myself. I think the Sport will look really aggressive.

I'm likin' that!  I was REALLY worried after I saw some of the "This is what it will look like" pictures and such and was thinking, I had better make the big red one last!

I could drive that!

To be sure the exterior styling is really nice, not so sure I'm willing to have anything to do with coil sprung rear suspension.  I also belive the dash board (of whatever material) will not be what I consider to be attractive.
Happiness is having a hole in your roof!

I like the idea of the coil spring because of comfort and strength. Dodge has always had a very tough leaf spring in their trucks and they just beeeeeeeat the crap right out of you and your load.  The DUALLY,(for some reason), has a better ride than a 3/4 or 1 ton single wheel PU.  It seams to me they should have made the rear section of their leaf springs longer for ride quality as they did many years ago with the B and C bodies.

Another nice thing about a coil sprung truck is that replacing the coil with an air spring will be easy. Now we are talking comfort...

I know some of you are thinking that you want your truck to be tough. Well I do too. But I am not going to lay down $50,000 to ride around on a MECHANICAL BULL.

Coils can take one hell of allot of abuse. A four or five link system will keep everything in order and give you even better control over  leaves.

I agree with you Travis.

What's going on over there at Dodge? They pulled the headlights back on the trucks (so they now look like Joan Rivers), then they pull the Magnum's headlights back down flat like an Avenger. It's as if they can't decide on a style over there.

The front grill and headlights look just like the current mustang.

Up until now Dodge has built a truck and not a SUV with a bed.  Sorry to see leaf springs go.

lol now that you mention it, that whole front end has almost an identical slope. no wonder we were thinking there were some ford cues in there..
