Put on a chrome bumper on the back and it almost looks old school from a distance  :scratchchin:

Yikes. What happened to that silver one? Is it just me? That side on shot looks horrible IMO. Horrible. Looks like they not only fattened the back up, but they shortened the front - one of the best features of that concept: it actually had a front that was proportioned well. Looks like the effect starts there, and continues right through to the back. Looks like they also shortened the door, brought the front edge back some, raised the body line (a slight amount), and flattened the sides. And those markers are too low for me. I think it's as a result of everything else, but the apparent changes also make that back pillar look fattened up - things are not as they were in relation to it. Maybe it's just that picture, maybe it's me  :scratchchin:

They sure did shorten the nose.  I don't care for it..  Why do they keep screwing up??

I guess we ought to be lucky they are making any type of retro that has simulation of the old style at all. Then again all the luck in the world isn't gonna put 40K up for one from this poor boy  :P

I think the problem is the LX platform is hard to work with unless you want boxy. I remember something about trying to make an SUV/car appeal when the LX`s were introduced.

Wow, that silver one kinda looks like the picture of the white camaro that was the latest picture showing what the production car will look like and which also looks different then the prototype they've been peddling..took me a second to realize it was a Challenger.

Finally received the word [had to check to validate Press's comments] that the Halo Viper will not cease production.

......

I think that Challenger picture is a bit off - it appears that the car is in a bit of a turn away from the camera with the front tires at a bit of an angle. Other photos of the same concept at a direct side-view look pretty good.

what's a halo viper?.  :shruggy:

The Viper is the "Halo" car for Chrysler. The top of the line, damn it all, lets show them what we got car that is meant to show off what the company is capable of.  Like the Ford GT, or any Chevy that runs.

I agree with most of what has been already stated. Except for the fact that not everyone considers the 2nd Gen Charger to be the best looking.

 Blasphemy!    :slap:

Ok, I feel better now  :icon_smile_wink:

Anyway, It shouldn't be rocket science to make a new one.... They had the best looking vehicles on the planet from the mid to late 60's to early 70's. Pick one and remake it with todays goodies and safety items.   :Twocents:

What is wrong with this?
Why not make it like this?
