Will disassemble the drivetrain of my Cuda -70 340/727 to find out what's in it.
The question is if I can determine what kind of converter I have (stall) if no
partnumber / brand is on it?  :scratchchin:

Attached my -68 R/T just before put into full resto mode.  :icon_smile_big:

What is the diameter of your converter ? As a rule, the smaller diameter converters will stall higher but the actual stall speed is dependant on the engine's torque output. The higher the torque....the higher the stall speed (same converter).

For example : a 10in converter that stalls at 2400 behind a 340 will stall several hundred rpm higher behind a 440.  ;)
