That is how the General Lee's on the TV show were done (except for a couple of rare exceptions). It originated with Lee1 having a terrible non-factory seam there. They left the trim to conseal the bad body work.

I am just in the process of select colour of my -68. First also thought about some kind of orange
but also afraid of coments like "you forgot the  Lee stripes" after putting 30K in the resto.
Any Chargers painted in Sub Lime?  :shruggy:

Sure does! If anything, my car and many GL's don't count. They are actually 1975 Corvette Flame RED.
