The Chiefs were playing a mentally challenged Football Team whose Stadium was located next to the Railroad Tracks.  The Chiefs had the ball late in the fourth quarter when a Train passed by the Stadium and blew its whistle.  The mentally challenged Team thought the whistle ended the Game and they walked off of the field.  Three plays later the Chiefs scored!

three plays later, the chiefs moved the ball to the center of the field to set up for the field goal, then missed that.




  ok, im over it now.   to be honest, the chiefs gave me a good year. they won 11 games. they made the playoffs. they will be back next year with more of the same. maybe even win a playoff game.   its much better than last year.

For you KC fans, I hope so.  An amazing run, and honestly Andy Reid has done an incredible job out there.  Ironically it seems like the worst thing you can do is put the Colts in a big hole.   I think Andrew Luck needs to be down by 3 TD's to really come alive.   I have a lot of respect for how they play when they're down - scrappy as hell.   Pagano and his guys open the playbook up and Luck just keeps coming and coming, refusing to give up.  I HATE the Colts, but I really like that kid.

An amazing run.....

Their bad 2012 record allowed their schedule to be front loaded with teams that had a sub .500 record.  The league manipulates the schedules to "help" the teams that have a bad record.    When KC started playing the tougher teams after the bye, their record was 6 losses & 2 wins.  (Including the playoff game.)  It keeps the fans hopeful and attending the games rather than having a team get stuck in a rut year, after year, after year.

check next years schedule. it seems to me that the chiefs have about the toughest schedule out there. 
     they played well. they lost their pass rush to injuries. take any defense out there and take their two best pass rushers/run stoppers out of the line up and see what happens.they also put 5 of their 6 division games in the second half.

     when you play a guy like rivers with no pass rush, he can pick you apart.  the second game against him was the second squad.

  so, yea, it was a light schedule.

  what about denver,  lost to new england, san diego, indy.  beat teams like raiders texans titans. so they beat the chiefs that had a winning record.

  they are all professional players. anyone can win on a given day. the rams beat the colts and saints.  thats proof right there.

A loss is a loss.....you can get lot of opinions for a one point loss. If we would have one by one we still would be chastised for that. I'm just glad we got this far. hopefully next year we can limp our way in again. Once in it's anybody's game.

Sandy Eggo got lucky in that Cincinnati played it's starters' the whole game.

Now had Cincy only started 20 back ups out of 22 I'm quite positive that Bengals kicker would have made the FG.
