I just passed my Ph.D. defense today.  Five professors questioned me for two hours strait to determine my limits of knowledge in chemistry.  I still need to make major revisions on my disseration before I can graduate (working on getting a time extension for this), but the hard part is now behind me, only writing to go........

Congrats! Takes a lot of hard work to achieve something like that!  Now for the bad news, you got to get out in the real world and get a job now! HAHA!    :icon_smile_big:

Thanks guys, I've been in college a long, long time for this (Bill Clinton had not been elected when I first started).  If you ever have to change colleges before getting a degree, alot of the credits won't always transfer over (additional $ for them).  I ran into a lot of problems along the way that delayed me by a few years, but that is now behind me. :yesnod:  That mess is another story that I may sit down and write a book about later (probably as long as my dissertation was :eek2:).  Now, on to the job hunt (probably will go into industry in the area of catalytic or sensor design) so I can afford to restore my toys.......

Nice references to YF, one of my favorite movies......... :2thumbs:

That's way cool Doc.  You've been in school for as long as I remember.  Congrats and unless we win the lottery you're gonna get that purple wingcar before me.

The Aquamax...yes, this bike spent 2 nights underwater one weekend. (Not my doing), but it gained the name, and has since become pseudo-famous. :)
