Are these dash pads being reproduced by anybody? If so, who and where ???

I bought a repo dash for my '69 and it was junk. The '68 dash pad is different than '69 and '70 and I don't remember if that one is being offered at all. There are companies like Just Dashes that will redo your original but it is costly(I think $500 and up).

In the end I just found a good used dash pad and redyed it for my car.

There is a repop version.  I have one in my '68 that I purchased from Fastening Specialties several years ago.  I wasn't happy with it at time of purchase but it has held up fine since 1999 to the extent that the car is used.  I believe it cost around 150.00 back then.  It has no metal backing like the originals and is kind of a limp thing until installed.  If you don't expect to be leaving you Charger closed up in 100 degree heat for hours on end, it's fine.  You may want to contact them to see if they still carry them.   Bob

You can get them from Year One, Paddock Parts, Dante's, Hardens, and I'm sure there are plenty of other distributors selling them.  I think Dashtop is the manufacturer, but I'm not sure about that.  I cheapest price I recall seeing was $189 from Hardens, but you might do better if you shop around a bit and keep an eye out for discount codes.

I still would not recommend the repo until someone makes one with the metal backing. I put mine in and it was wavy and you could see the mounting screw studs from the top. It might be alright for a driver but, forget it for a show car.

I capped my '69 dash pad until I can find an original good pad. They make '68 types too. It isn't bad and I may just leave it.

Yep everybody sells from the same maker of the upper dash pad, I bought a 68 pad
from the Paddock and its a limp noodle, I paid $100.00 to have it died blue put it on and
I will never buy a repo pad again not enough metal in them for sure can't wait till they
do it right I am out $250.00 on the darn thing. Yes sometimes a dash cap looks better
as strange as that may sound.
