I was looking through some SLADE CDs. It seems QR used a few SLADE songs. Of course Cum on.....but also Mama we're all crazy now, Stomp your hands & Sign of the Times.

That was a bummer to hear. Always liked QR. Brings back some fun teen memories of back in the day!  QR may very well be the first metal band to tip the industry on its ear and get mainstream radio play! That album was hot for many many months when it came out! MTV was in its beginning stages. Good times!

I have to agree completely...

We cruized to it. We drank to it. We s&%#&d to it. We played to it. We jammed it.. We even banged our heads....  Friday night at the River Boat with Harpo jamming the Quiet Riot and pounding down the hot wings....   Damn sure brings back some good times...  Never did see them live...

They say he was dead 6 days before he was found. He was also engaged. Read it here...

Strange that Brap Delp (BOSTON) was also engaged when he was found dead. Seems that women will be the death of us all.

Brad Delp commited suicide with a charcoal grill in a sealed room. It is really sad because he has an amazing voice. I was always hoping for an "Original" line up reunion.

Yup, in my opinion..Randy was the best. But thats just my own opinion. More of my faves include Slash, Zakk Wylde, Dimebag Darrell, Eddie Van Halen, Jimmy Page, Jimi Hendrix, Kirk Hammett, James Hetfield and Brian May. :coolgleamA:
