I have been a member here for a while, but haven't posted much.  Mainly I was just coming here to look for a Charger project to buy my daughter.  Jaclyn is 18 & has wanted a Charger since she first saw "The Fast & the Furious".   I promised her last year if she graduated from her Auto Body course at the local Tech school, I would buy her a project.  She won't graduate until spring, but since she has gotten all A's for a year and a half I decide to buy her a car now.  Also my buddy decided he was never going to get to this Charger, & since I had been bugging him to sell it to me he did.
It was origianally a green on green 318, auto on the column, bench seat car.  It doesn't have a drive train now, but I do have a 400 & 727 tranny to put in it.
The body needs some work, but the floor pans, trunk & frame rails are solid.
I will probably be here more asking questions & looking for parts.

 First off ,Welcome!!

Thats Great that youre daughter is going to be a body tech!! I own a body shop and I have worked around women in the shop and I think the body repair industry needs more of them!! They tend to be very particular about the things they do and it shows in the end result!! My hats off to her! And on top of that she obviously has good take in cars   :2thumbs

PS more Pics!!!

Sweet! Base model '70 just like my first Charger. :2thumbs: I'd pull the bench seat and get buckets with a console so the boys can't sit next to her. She sounds like a great daughter.

Great News! How Proud You Must Be!  :2thumbs: Bench Seat and a Boat Anchor eh?..

First of all I hate you....  How do you rate having a daughter that (1) gives a damn about cars? (2) Gives a damn about MOPARS??  Ok, Ok.. I don't hate you.. I'm just reallllly damn jealous. I have 2 daughters and neither one of them could give a tinkers damn about cars. Well, except for when theirs are not running of course...

I think it's great that your daughter is into not just cars, but Chargers.. I'm not saying she won't be sorry. Time after time she will be. Most of the time she will love it and you for getting her into the hobby and doing something with her..

My hat is off to you both... :2thumbs:

Welcome to the site and tell your daughter congratulations on getting such good marks.  A keen interst in cars and a good student says she should do very well in her chosen vocation.
Great project too btw.

Welcome and Congrats to you both.

Nice score on the 70. Looks like a great project! Looking forward to seeing the progress you guys make on it. I have a 70 R/T she can "practice" her bodyworking skills on anytime she feels like it!  :smilielol: :D

Welcome to the site, you must be so proud.  Yes you are lucky to have a daughter like that, my son could care less about cars and my daughter told me over dinner last night my 69 RTSE is an ugly car.  You don't want to hear my comment back, as I'm not going to jail, but she'll never say that again.  I work in the Elevator business we also work on escalators, they are the big mean greasy punks of machinery in our trade.  There are about 20 of us men and one woman.  She is the elevator and escalator repair team tech.  She does what most guys don't want to do, and does it with a smile (most days).  Great project car, you should be a very proud dad. Welcome and good luck.
This car was sold many years ago to somebody in Wisconsin. I now am retired and living in Florida.

Nice and welcome to the site.
That should make for a real nice project. Looks about like mine did when I first bought it other than the multiple colors. Mine still had it's original green paint on it when I picked it up. But I put it thru a re-paint for the restoration.
Again. Have fun with it. I'm sure you two will. My daughter could care less about classic cars but she's one of those pre-teens who could care less about anything except shopping at the mall this point in her life.
Hopefully she will change that additude as she gets a little older.

Nice car :2thumbs:

To care less is one thing, that's how my son feels, but to say the car is ugly?  :RantExplode:   I'm sorry, I can't talk about this anymore.  Matter of fact, where is she right now.

I'm cool, I'm O.K  I put those comments under the "you make no sense at all" category.  Her American Dolls do nothing for me, so were equal.

That car's definitely got plenty of potential.
Show us some more pics when she starts working on it.

The Aquamax...yes, this bike spent 2 nights underwater one weekend. (Not my doing), but it gained the name, and has since become pseudo-famous. :)
