My daughters new project

Congrats, My oldest daughter wanted an old truck so I bought a 75 Dodge swb that was a fixer upper. She even went with me to the wrecking yard to help scrounge parts. We had alot of fun.

I'm cool, I'm O.K  I put those comments under the "you make no sense at all" category.  Her American Dolls do nothing for me, so were equal.

Im right there with you 1969charger. My daughter could care less about muscle cars. The bug must have skipped a generation like it did with my dad. He could care less too. Weird how that happens sometimes. I guess I can look forward to passing the charger down to my future grandson someday if that ever happens and not my daughter. Oh well. Her loss.

I have been a member here for a while, but haven't posted much. Mainly I was just coming here to look for a Charger project to buy my daughter. Jaclyn is 18 & has wanted a Charger since she first saw "The Fast & the Furious". I promised her last year if she graduated from her Auto Body course at the local Tech school, I would buy her a project.  She won't graduate until spring, but since she has gotten all A's for a year and a half I decide to buy her a car now.  Also my buddy decided he was never going to get to this Charger, & since I had been bugging him to sell it to me he did. It was origianally a green on green 318, auto on the column, bench seat car.  It doesn't have a drive train now, but I do have a 400 & 727 tranny to put in it. The body needs some work, but the floor pans, trunk & frame rails are solid. I will probably be here more asking questions & looking for parts.

I've had this in my bookmarks for a while, just curious what the progress was... so how did it turn out?

What is the build date on that puppy?

My car was built within a month of yours...it was originally F4 green with green interior and I believe it had a white top

I'd pull the bench seat and get buckets with a console so the boys can't sit next to her. She sounds like a great daughter.
