Good story. Sad though on how the guy got his car back..all burnt . If that was me, I would of gone out to see if it was my car, even if I didnt believe the guy telling me it. I bet you if he went out to see if it was his car, he would of gotten it back, unburnt . Is it written by a member here?

i enjoyed reading that story a lot, i do not understand why he couldn't just swap the parts over and call it a 69 318 car? why rebody it? that's only going to cause problems one day.. it's only letters in a VIN, why change it all over?? it still FEELS like his old car right? which is all that should matter

Great story. The rebody thing...well, maybe by the time he's old-n-grey, nobody will care about that little descrepancy.
