The older I get the less I worry or even care about Christmas.    Anymore it's an annoyance.  I'm too busy at work during that time and taking the time off hurts me the week after because the work didn't go anywhere while I was out but it still has to get done before the 31st.

So anywa we bought new HE5 Kenmore washer and dryer and decided it would be better to pay them off and not worry about gifts.     I also just put a set of tires on her car Tuesday.   There's not much she could give me anyway since I don't need anything except a 500 stroker kit and she can't really help with that.

Its an RCA unit from WalMart. The first one wiigged out after a few months. Walmart exchanged and the 2nd has been fine. Its a digital tuner and doesnt have the old school coax connection. Only an RCA type connector to your tv. I had to rig the old VCR up as the way to connect it to my TV.  Other then that it works fine. Been copying some vhs tapes to DVD.  You can put multiple things on dvd if theres enough space and then finalize it. Only thing I dont like about it is changing chanels is SLOW.  Old VCR you could channel surf changing channels as fast as you could push the remote button. Now you push and it takes a good 3-5 seconds to move a channel. I thnk I paid about 220$ for it. Dont know if a higher dollar unit is faster or not?!

I can probally get a set of those for about 600. For example, I can buy a set of Vectors right now for $400 if I wanted too. The wheels I wanna get are like $600 EACH. And Slotted mags look nice so I'll probally go with those right now until I can afford to spend like $2k on wheels
