Yea, I like it. Still, I'll take the purple one. :icon_smile_cool:

Notice they never do that sort of commercial with the new "Charger?" Yea, because they look NOTHING like any classic version and they never intented to pay homage to its predicessor like they did with the Challenger. A$$ho*es!

lol sweet. they could have shown the guy with the 70 at least busting ass and them going side by side. instead of him putting his head down and laughing as if he's not worthy.. ah well. surprised the 70 challenger owner was even driving the car in the first place..
i live in CHARGERLAND.. visitors welcome. 166 total, 7 still around

I was expecting a race and what do they do, they poke fun at the 70 chally. I guess because that would be encouraging street racing, but they had Kahne and that other dude racing in their commercial.

I always have to think.....

You bought yours, I built mine.

Or at least they are working on paying for it.

The next ad should have the challenger pull up and do the same thing to a 08 Mustang GT

Maybe they could bring in a new Dodge Sheriff.  I got his autographed poster hanging in the garage  :police:.  For the younger ones here's a sample although its a bad copy.

I think they should have showed the 70 sitting there smoking his tires, while the 08 takes off..........................fade to black.............(voice over)........."New for the 2008 Challenger............Traction Control"    :drive:

I just hope that it doesn't explode 73 seconds after it leaves the lot.

Nice, But I still don't believe the new Challenger is comming out.  I am orginally from Missouri, and I say "SHOW ME"

That commercial sorta reminds me of one of the new Ford commercials. Anybody see it? It has a Ford in it with the "lion man" driving and he pulls up beside a lime green coloured 70 Cuda and then sorta does the same thing as the Challenger one.

Can you find this one for us bud?  I'm curious.

This is just TOO COOL!
08 Challenger SRT8
I don't want to be the bearer of bad news, but I got a feeling that's just how it's gonna be.  That new car is going to be bad, but a classic is a classic, at least that's what I'll tell myself when one of them flies by me like I'm sitting still. :eek2:  I'm sure that outlook will ruffle feathers, but if they were as bad as they were almost 40 years ago, I can just image what the new Muscle cars will be like after 40 years of technologies?
This car was sold many years ago to somebody in Wisconsin. I now am retired and living in Florida.

That TEASER COMMERCIAL  WAS pathetic. I'd take the OLD School Chally ANY DAY !
Besides-it is a LOT EASIER to work on...and DOES NOT come with an on-board Data Logger computer to help "Convict your ass" when you get in an accident or get a speeding ticket-after Officer "Geek Squid" downoads the data AFTERWARDS for the Prosecutor !!! :RantExplode:

I thought that was sad that the 70 didnt put up a fight but it was still cool. I do hope they go into production. How about the 09 Charger have you seen it I was looking at it the other day and it looks alot better than they got now at least it only has 2 doors.

I don't take it as the 70 owner not putting up a fight, I see it more as the classic owner has already proven it's worth.  He's laughing because he knows what the other dude is up to since he's already been there done that.

The guy who owns THAT car should change his name to "GOD"-because you'd have to work a miracle-just to own one like his anymore ! :flame:
