Do we have a member whose '68 was used in some British TV/movies?

The owner of that '68 is using that white on black 'California' style plate to display his UK registration number. They're made in the UK by a company called American Number Plates (Who'da guessed!) http://www.american-number-plate.com. They've never been strictly legal over here, but recently the laws on UK plates have really been tightened up. Plates now need to have uniform latters and spacing, and display the name and postal code of the company that made them. (At least during annual inspection anyway!  :yesnod: )

By the way, the 'F' at the end of that number means '68. 'G' would be '69. 'N' is '75 and so on. It's easy to spot the year a car was registered in the UK from its tag.

It's a great looking car. It was in one of our home grown US and Custom magazines a while back. I'll find it and scan it if anyone wants to read the article.
