Estrada messed up the christmas parade here in San Diego...he showed up really late and he was the opening float!!!!  Then comes zipping thru to try and catch up to his float...stalls the parade some more and was laughing the whole time...I hope he's living it up greatly!   



No I am not upset.  BTW.   I think it is great that he still around doing stuff!

Don't you think playing a porn star and being a porn star are worlds apart on the moral scale? He's playing a role in a story and every story involves characters who are less than perfect. Would you look down on the woman who played Satan in "The Passion of the Christ" if she had played Daisy Duke 20 years ago? I mean it doesn't get much more immoral than Satan does it?

I just think it's weird when people refuse to seperate a role played by an actor and the role he plays in real life. It's acting. It's what the guy does for a living.

I guess you have a point there.  I do seperate reality from fiction, but being a christian and knowing about the christian based actors group...who are actually some pretty big actors/actresses....that are trying to keep all the nasty crap out of the movies....I just think more celebrities should go that route.  I don't know...maybe I am just looking at the world with rose colored glasses.  I also believe we will have world peace one day...

I think what they're doing is good but people can't just stick their heads in the sand and ignore what's going on in the world or they will tune out the very people they are trying to reach. I think as long as the questionable role is not being glorified (ie., unrealistic) then it's ok. Even the 'good guy' roles should not be glorified because there's going to be adversity in every facet of life if it's real. People that make good choices are still subject to bad circumstances because that's just life. Either way I think every story should be true to reality on some level.

   I think looking at the world through rose colored glasses would mean that you think everythings fine, and have no problem with the bad examples in the media.
