i'm getting ready to buy a full TTI exhaust for my 68 charger with a 440 i'm getting 1 7/8'' headers and full 3'' exhaust with x pipe. Are there any places that sells TTI exhausts cheaper then if i were to buy it directly from TTI? just trying to save acouple bucks.

You might save a few bucks... not many.    I got my headers from Vignona Racing and my exhaust through John Cambridge at Baxter Dodge.    They're not in the game of discounting.

Here's their distributors.  http://ttiexhaust.com/Auth.Distributors/TTIDist..htm    Call some of them and ask what their best deal is.

A few years ago I bought mine from PROMAX, when they were at the Mopar Happening Show in Belvidere IL.   They offered free shipping at that time, which saved me around $300.    That's something you might ask, when you contact the TTI distributors.

It's pretty tough to get TTI to budge with their prices.  I think they come down on dealers who offer discounts as they want the prices all consistent, same with Gear Vendors.  I go thru John Cambridge every time as he's always a pleasure dealing with.

I tried taking to TTI directly and they where pretty much useless.

In fact they did their best to get me off the phone and talk to a distributor.

I ended up talking to Jason at http://www.mayo-performance.com/

Hes a great guy and VERY helpful, plus hes a Mopar nut.

I went in person to pick up the parts and he was working on a few Hemi's.

I cannot recommend them enough.

Oh and he did manage to get me a good deal as well.

I agree, 2Gunz. I bought headers and exhaust from Mayo Performance. I called Jason from Sweden and he had a great patience with me and my questions.

There was an attempt to geta  group buy on TTi's a few years ago and the best discount that could be made was free shipping. They do not allow their dealers to discount the header prices.

I bought the 3" TTI exhaust for my car and although it fits nice, the set was pretty spendy at about $800 shipped with Dynomax mufflers.  Has anyone tried the 2 1/2" or 3" mandrel bent exhaust systems I see on eBay for about $260?  Here's the link.

Again, I don't know about the quality of this system.  If you try them, let me know.  Merry Christmas to all.

I just found this place, www.torqueteckexh.com. I seen it advertise in the Dec. 2007 Muscle Car Review magazine (the one covering the Challengers). It looks to be a bit cheaper than TTI.

MOPARHOUND!

Bought my setup from John Cambridge at Baxter Dodge in Omaha, NE.  He had it dropped shipped to me.

Good service after the sale, as he was able to get me a couple of pieces TTI forgot to send.  One piece was the special linkage piece needed on column shift cars.  TTI also sent the wrong size exhaust tips.

You might consider Doug Thorley's, very similar design, and alternative exhaust systems if you are looking to save some buck$.
