He is just a guy trying to make a living, the DoH must still get him some money in the pocket from the DVD's and reruns for example, but it can't a goldmine.

Maybe not but I'm guessing it would keep my bills paid at my current style of living without me ever having to leave the house. What do you think he still clears from DOH? $3k-$6k per month maybe? I have no idea.

The actual re-runs of the television episodes don't ever make old actors very much at all.  It's mostly merchandising and public appearances when you're talking about stuff from decades ago.

He's not doing too bad. He lives (or at least up until recently) lived in a rather well off area of L.A. (Agoura Hills / Westlake Village). Gotta keep in mind that just because he's not exactly an A-lister, it doesn't mean he hasn't been working. I was just looking through imdb and he's done a bunch of made for TV movies and cartoon voiceovers. Not too mention Smallville...he probably made some decent $ the couple of years he was on there.  He may not be pulling in Will Smith money, but even if he only makes a couple of hundred grand a year from those jobs, he's still doing waaaay better than most of us regular folks.

The TV episode reruns don't make them much money. 

But a guy like Schneider isn't exactly poor.  He got a bunch of money when he was young, he didn't blow it all, and he has brought in small & medium amounts of money over the years since then.

For money that is....First he tries to sell his GL and tonight he was on Nip/Tuck as an ex-porn star/ video manager.  I love the guy to death...but that is ridiculous.  Can he not get a good paying gig that has a more respectful role??

Probably not.  I agree he comes across as a nice guy, but I would never ever want to be an actor.  To many sad stories, ruined lives out there.
