OK, the thread made it to 11 pages until someone intentionally  created a "lock" situation. A few posts ahead of the final post (that broke the camel's back) there was a warning issued....and still the idotic comments were made. 

If you're that upset.... then you really only have your peers to blame. 

Hell i'm tempted to lock this thread too but in the name of democracy i'll let everyone have their say and see what falls out....

I'm sorry to see it gone, but some juveniles just can't seem to keep themselves under control. It's a shame a few have to ruin it for the rest of us who have some self control. And if you think the mods here went too far, you need to spend some time at moparts. By comparison, the rating here IS PG-13.

i think the poll has said it all.....why don't we bring back the post and omit the "offensive" response. that would make sense, but i guess there is isn't too much around here on a that. Well I'll say this, I voted that it should have been locked. If that matters i think not, but just to share the other side of the story. The same went for the chicks on charger thread. Yeah I looked at it, and yeah I even posted a few pictures in there. But when people take it from one realm of to what we all konw isn't approriate then it needs to be put to a stop. I have no problem with the work that the moderators are doing, and I have no problem with them locking that thread.

As far as the whole comment of how it wasn't good on dc.com behalf to lock the thread because there is an upcoming event featuring those cars. I don't see how that matters. There will still be this site, and there will still be people who want information on those cars featured.

I've thought the thread overall was really classless.   The response was pretty much the same as if you put those pics in front of an undersexed 17 year old.   Pretty juvenile.

Sorry to say but when it all comes down to it, this is really a car site directed to CHARGER's, even though i made a few dumb comments  to that post, ( which I did )  and I will admitt to it and i apologise ,, all posts like that get either deleted or locked so why even bother posting them. Did I do something to annoy you somewhere along the line? If you've noticed I have hardly responded at all to this thread and yet you take a swing at me personally by saying you could "f'ing care less about my car or it's publicity" - that's fine and that is certainly your right, but honestly, I think that was completely uncalled for. One, the thread was not started by me - yes my car was a part of it but if you have a problem with it take it up with someone else. Second, the thread had a ridiculous amount of hits so it's pretty obvious to me that most members enjoyed it.

I think I have done a VERY good job representing the Charger community as a whole and always do my best to make people aware and improve upon hobby - I see the photo shoot we did the same way. It may not be to your taste, but God knows it got people looking and talking about Chargers.

Next time you respond to a post though I would choose your words and who they are directed at more carefully.
