Hey guys,
do you think an 8 1/4 will be okay to withstand around 350-375 hp? It's for my A-body. I'd like to go with a shortened 8 3/4 setup but right now its not in the budget, so maybe in the future. I can get an 8 1/4 complete right in my price range and have enough left over to get a new ring/pinion and a posi unit. I'm also switching rear ends out so I can convert to the 4.5" bolt pattern from the small BP. Your thoughts are appreciated.

Sorry this isn't a Charger related question but for some reason I find this forum very relaxed and easy to keep up with.

Thanks!

Hey there, I have a 8 1/4 in my 69 Charger with a 383 (approx. 335-350hp) and I've been told it should be fine as long as I dont race it or etc
