well guys i KINDA got this car off ebay.. i bought it. but wasn't the high bidder. it's a 68 coronet. /6 with 36000 original miles on the car. kind of custom redone. maaco paint job that looks better in pics than it is. but overall a great driver, and the guy spent 3 years "restoring" it.. got it fairly inexpensive..(under $7000) so though it wasn't a charger, i was happy to get it and add it to the collection. what do you guys think?

That's pretty low mileage Trav, when ya gitta chance how about complete pics?..
And please do not say what you paid for her i've done enuff crying for one life time...

This car was sold many years ago to somebody in Wisconsin. I now am retired and living in Florida.

Dave22443

what do you guys think?

I think you are developing an exceptional taste in cars.....

Nice score for that price. Those are hard to come by. IMHO leave it a /6.

It's a Mopar! Gotta love it. Your keeping the /6? Looks like a perfect platform for a big block or Hemi crate motor.

thanks again guys.. what's seriously crazy is i may actually drive this one more. the guy tells me it gets close to 20 mpg. that is better than any hemi ram i've driven lately.. i like the 69 better myself personally, but let's face it, when a deal smacks you in the face, beggers can't be choosers.. one thing i must admit, power steering is in this car's future.. manual brakes is freakish enough, but manual steering i'll have that mahogany wheel down to a nub in weeks   :drive: :drive:

lol thanks chris. means a lot coming from you.    ha. i really am gonna keep this one.. you'll see... now i did pick up a rough but runs 69 coronet with a 318 that i'm gonna sell.. but not this one.. paul(pocketthunder) no idea why you like that grill.. lol.. you know chargerfan, that dash was my favorite part too. love it or hate it, it's the first car i've had with modified gauges, and since the car had the standard cluster, not rallye, i think they are a nice upgrade on the car..

Beautiful Car! I had a QQ1 68 Coronet RT that I sold before I bought my Triple Black 68 Charger RT. My wife wanted me to keep both but couldn't keep them both and the 67 Mustang convertible and the 67 Coronet RT. I still have to find a place for the 68 Mustang J Code Coupe I bought that she does not know about!

Its a keeper!
