For "Speedway", clips were used of David Pearson's 66 Charger and it was portrayed as the car that Elvis was driving.

Wow! i just went on a Google Picture hunt lookin for Speedway Chargers and although i found two pics of him (elvis) behind the wheel of an obvious b-body fast back, no pics of the car it'self (yet)... but i did notice from the Elvis website links, those folks (elvis fans) are a trip!

BTW: Did you know Elvis was a Blonde, and allways dyed his hair Black?..

but I will find that car cause i remember it from when i was a kid...
but in the meantime, just so it's not a total waste..  http://www.flixster.com/actor/nancy-sinatra  :icon_smile_wink:

ok wrong thread whatever...

if ya' squint it almost looks like a first Gen..

I'm a huge fan of the king, I think his hair was more towards a dirty blonde, than blonde.  Did you know when he was in the casket they had to touch up his hair at the hair line with mascara because his hair was pure whit/grey like his Dad?  Elvis and those Chargers were a big influence for me as a kid.
This car was sold many years ago to somebody in Wisconsin. I now am retired and living in Florida.
