I have sox that are older than Cody.  I really Miss my casettes and I play them all the time.  I even have the first cassette I ever made.  It is a Jimi Hendrix one that I recorded off a friend, because I couldn't afford to buy one

Ahhhhhhhh, the good ole days.  Before the internet, I actually had a life

HITMAN 149

hahahaha yea right... you'd chip in w/ like 3 or 4 guys.. draw straws ( or just bully the other 3 guys!! LOL) to see who would keep the real tape & then make copies for everyone else!!! hahahahaha

True story---When I was 3 or 4 yrs old I use to run and hide behind the refrigerator every time I saw Kojak on TV.  He scared me and how ironic that 30 yrs later, I'm bald.  Damn you Karma!!!!

Sorry, SGT Hitman, I couldn't resist

Wow cassettes! I have tons of them and they all have the best music so I'm afraid to keep playing them cause they will get ruined.  I have one "Helloween"(keeper of the seven keys) tape that I play every time I go in the woodshop(my garage) and I also play "The Cars" greatest hits.
I just lost my Hank Jr's Greatest Hits tape to my friend Jenna.  She played it every time she came over and it was driving everyone, but me, mad, so I just gave it to her.  I've had it since I was a teen, and used to listen to it every day. It was released 5 years before she was born(1982 I believe).  I'm really gettin old!

I don't dare to play my Ozzy cassettes anymore.

John, cool gift you gave to Cody.  I couldn't think of a better person to have that old school cassette with Randy on it!

Now if you'll excuse me, I have to start looking at my tapes.  I smell a new thread coming.

Life isn't Father Knows Best anymore, it's a kick in the face on a saturday night with a steel toed grip kodiak work boot and a trip to the hospital all bloodied and bashed.....for reconstructive surgery. But, what doesn't kill us, makes us stronger, right?

Forgot to post & say that I got plates from Mxzx440, Hitman & The70RT. Thanks, guys! :2thumbs:
Hitman...was that plate snagged from a car that burned? I'm keeping an eye out for a good bike plate for ya. :icon_smile_big:

The Aquamax...yes, this bike spent 2 nights underwater one weekend. (Not my doing), but it gained the name, and has since become pseudo-famous. :)

oldcarnut

Some of ya'll make me feel old because I still have most all my 8-track tapes and can still play them in my R/T and the Panosonic dynamite player.  How many states will let you register the old plates?  In SC, cars over 30 years can register same year SC tags if they're in good shape and not already in circulation.  All three of mine have them ---68, 69, and 70 original SC tags on them.
