installing carpet ???

6d9 charger

This is a 2 part question ,  can i use a spray adheasive to help hold down the carpet in some spots , and where should the gas peddle be in relation to the floor mat on the carpet.
i looked on the charger registry and there are a few  diffrent locations .

first yes you can use spray adhesive under the carpet allthough i prefer to heat gun the wrinkles out and let gravity do the rest

  second the gas pedal should be IN the heel pad..... here is a link look at the pics MTPOCKET posted his is right

When I put new carpet in one of my other cars I used rubber cement. Painted the stuff on the back of the carpet then to the car. I let it sit up for a few minutes then put it in. I dont know if that is correct for Dodge?
