they are in different places on different years from 68-70. sometimes on top sometimes on the inside side.. but usually on the driver's side away from the center a few inches.. also don't freak if you have a 68 and the VIN doesn't match it. it's not supposed to. in 69 and 70 however the last 6 should be identical

As stated above...on the top or on the engine side depending on year and plant...
Seeking information on '69 St. Louis plant VINs, SPDs and VONs. Buld sheets and tag pictures appreciated. Over 3,000 on file thanks to people like you.

my 68 had no numbers on the rad support, but they were on the trunk rail under the weatherstrip.
I used to own a mopar because it was different, but now I know better.

Its been my observation over the years that if there are no numbers on the radiator core support it has probably been replaced at one time or another. And if i'm not mistaken the 68's have numbers on the radiator core support, but they are the SON not the VIN for the car. Should still match to the car, but I think that only place that you could match it to would be the broadcast sheet. As I don't think that the SON is on the fender tag in 68, I'm about 90% on that one. More of a 69 person myself.
